I've got a GE washer model: WJRR4170G0WW that spins but does not wring the water out of the clothes well (you can still squeeze the water out of the clothes when the cycle complete). Much help will be appreciated.

Well : this depends also a little bit on the machine you bought !
What is the max. speed of spinning? 1000? 1200? 1400? 1600?
Do not expect on low spinning speeds your laundry to spin dry.

If the problem did not occur in the past, you have to do a little research yourself first, to check what is going on in your machine :

Remove the rear panel, and have a look as to what is going on.
Check the drive belt : is it frayed?
Is the drum running against something?
Does anything look lose or broken?
Is the belt perhaps slipping? Check belt tension. Is the belt frayed and/or damaged?

Please be careful : do not touch anything while the machine is connected to the power.

If you can not find anything, remove the power - take the power cable out of the socket and put it on to the ground.
Note down how the belt is connecting the drum and motor.
Remove the belt . This may be difficult. You can un-tighten the mounting bolts of the motor to make it easier.

Spin the motor a couple of times by hand, as fast as possible. Is it running freely?

Spin the (empty) drum a couple of times by hand, as fast as possible. Is it running freely?

Of course you can always come back to the board and discuss your findings!
