:confused: I have n't started my period. Last period was feb 20. 2006 I am two weeks late and the past four days I have been spotting a really lite brown. Is that my period? I have hardly ever been late on my periods.and they last only four or five days. Should I take a test now or when the spotting stops. I am sooo .:confused:

Honey you probably are not pregnant. But it couldn't hurt to take a test to know for sure. Get yourself on birth control pills. These will regulate your periods for sure...

Well... this question gets asked a lot here, and usually the answer is a definitive maybe, maybe not. We cannot tell you.

No one here can diagnose you or determine if you are.

If you had unprotected sex, or even protected sex (my little one is a testament to that) then yes, it is possible.

Can a million things throw off a cycle? Yep. Can it alter the timing? Yep. And the look compared to normal. Yep.

You probably know what these things are (physical stress, nutrition, emotional stress, etc)... and of course then there is the issue of a negative test doesn't always mean no...

So you've got a waiting and worrying period to work through. Don't be afraid to see a physician or go to a health clinic to get the answer. Its better to know where you are than to worry about something needlessly.

Wish we could give you a more definitive answer.

Mel-the more you stress on it, the longer it will be inconsistent. Go see your OBGYN-make sure it's not something more serious like STD... hate to scare you but you never know.

I never really got a normal period. I spotted for four days and then a really light period like but to lite to be one, so after six days of that I had stopped so I took a test and it was negative. So yeah.
