Hi,

I have a 2 year old german sheperd

He is big and weighs 60 Kgs.

We vaccinated him for anti rabbies when he was 1 year old

Now he doesn't allow doctor to vaccinate.

He stays indoor and the villa is enclosed and he is not in contact with other animals.

Is it alrite if I don't vaccinate him?

Is there any other way to vaccinate anti rabbies?

Please let me know.

Regards

Patrick

If doctor puts a muzzle on him he can vaccinate him.

By not vaccinating him you are taking a chance on him getting rabbies, that said people take chances everyday it is your choice. But if he were ever to bite someone or the officials were ever called the first thing they would want is proof of his rabbies shot.

The doc can give you something like the equlivilent of Vallium to give to the dog to calm him down a lot.

It depends on the local laws, as well. There are some spots that are strict about requiring yearly rabies vaccinations.

However, it sounds like the dog could do with some basic obedience classes as well. German shepherds are powerful dogs, and need to be under your control at all times.
