SOS:

Hello:

I have just ruined one of my Barbie Dolls within in 15 minutes and would like some help. I used permanent purple marker to try and fix the dolls lipstick that was missing some areas. I unfortunately have placed permanent marker across the dolls lips, exterior lips, and chin.

Also, the doll has somewhat of a reddish/pink discoloration to its nose and I don't know where that came from.

The doll is Lara 2nd Edition from the Generation Girl Collection.

Please help me if you can. I would like to reverse this mess!!

God Bless :)

Well, I've always found using isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) always works pretty well... granted, I'm not sure if this'll take the other colors off the doll either.

I suggest taking a qtip, trying this on an area to "color test" it, and if it doesn't damage the rest of the doll, try it.

Nail polish remover might work too, but it's tricky because it can ruin the toy if you aren't careful.

Bug spray! No it really does remove permanent marker!

Why does a new poster come and out of 10's of thousands of posts, find one that is two year old to answer
