Are you behind in your rent? What reasons is he evicting you? Do you have a yearly or monthly lease? Florida (from what I looked up) they can give you a three days notice. If you do not leave
He then goes to court and gets a formal eviction which doesn't buy you much more time.

Well, if you received a letter from the bank... it's true.

They can, and will, at some point make you move out. The way they'll do this is to come and change the locks. Then all of your stuff will be locked in there. Are there other tenants still living in the building?

You can ignore the notice and stay as long as you can. They often don't get anyone out there nearly that quickly. But just know that you're taking your chances that you'll come home one day, your key won't work, your stuff will be locked inside, and there's really no one to call to be let in.

You could try to get all of the tenants together as one body and attempt to contact the bank. If it's a smaller, local institution you might be able to get them to agree to take rent and let you stay. Doubtful, but I guess anything's worth a shot. I've seen strange things happen with foreclosed properties.

Yeah I was thinking if it is in foreclosure it is up to the bank to evict.
Don't pay him any more rent until you know if he should still be getting it because if it is in the bank possession now it is not his building. Like Rockingmom said contact the bank and ask where your rent should be going to first.
