Why is it good practice to acknowledge the limitations of my research in the project report?

It sort of gives you an excuse for some of the "holes" you may have in your presentation. Of course, I'd need a more specific idea of what the research was and what the project was about, but for instance, in a lab report, you should say certain limitations of the instruments you were using, the errors in the calculations, etc. so that when someone questions you, you can "blame" the instruments.

It is good practice because you can work on those limitations throughout your research.
I gave an answer, but don't know if it's correct.
