Hey I'm the one that was asking for info I am 33 yr old female single mother of 3 boys 18,16,6 ages so there for I have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to fixing it and I barley make it with the cost of living and raisein 3 kids my 18 yr old works but I have my other 2 also so there for could not pay anyone to come fix it so I'm trying to figure it out myself so if anyone could give me some ideas of what to check I would be very grateful thank u

I understand your situation. The problem is that unless you have the proper tools and the knowledge to use them there is not much I can help you with. You already tried the circuit breakers and any further work would have you into the electric part of the unit. I do not feel comfortable addressing that situation with you since of your own admission you know nothing about these units. Electric can kill you especially if you do not know what you are doing.

You will be better served by having a ON SITE inspection by a professional who knows what they are doing instead of you trying to play with the electric circuits.

I bet the outside unit is not working. That will be a breaker with a bar across it. If you push it toward the on position and it's tripped, it will move slightly. To reset, turn to off, then on again.

Your heater/control board could have been damaged either irreversibly or reversibly. If there is an emergency switch on your heater, turn it off. Wait about 5 minutes and turn it back on again.

The t-stat is another possibility.
