I've highlighted my hair at home with boxes in the past and I was thinking it would be cheaper and easier to just have the products I need in bulk and mix them myself. I went to Sally's and was amazed at all the different products they have. I have long dark blonde hair and want light blonde highlights. What type of developer should I use and what do I mix with it?
Thanks for any help!!

I like the Sun-In
I think it is by Clariol

It is nice because you just spray it in and use a hair dryer (or the sun)

Yeah, don't use sun in! The problem with you doing this yourself is getting the color in correctly. You will have a very difficult time doing highlights on yourself. You can't just apply the color wherever or it won't look right. You could pull it through a cap if your hair isn't long, but you will have a difficult time doing even this by yourself because it's hard to reach the back of your head! Either go to a salon for highlights or do an all over color.
