View Full Version : Issue with 99 accord

my wife was driving the accord and the warning and caution light came on and off, such as brake lamp, all four doors are open, e-brake light and battery light came on and then later the abs light stayed on but the others were flashing at random, when she attempted to maneuver out of the way and gave it gas the care sputterd. She pulled over and turned the car off. Could not start the car, waited a few houres until I arrived and the car started but then died. Could not restart, sometimes there would be nothing but others there would be a rapid clicking noise as in a low voltage battery, I attempted to jump but nothing, had to tow the car to get out of the heat. Any suggestions :confused:

See if it starts in the morning, when it's cool. If it does, then the main relay is the likely culprit and should be replaced; however, I'm concerned something else may be going on. If it doesn't start when it's cool, perform all tests in Sections A and B below:
