Howdy!

I've been trying to find some type of plumbing schematic that can help me with drawing up a schematic to submit to the building department for a commode we'd like to add to our steel garage building. We've already got the permit process started for the garage, and had the health and safety department sign-off on connecting it to the septic (downgrade and down-wind from the garage, LOL) system (at beginning of leach line, at riser I believe). But, I can't find in any of the code books or online search engines for a possible schematic to use as an example for our commode room.

We've been told it can only measure max. 4'5" x 4'5" and we'd like to have the wash basin in the same room. I just can't find something I can use to mock up something to submit to the county.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay. Most bathroom groups are roughed in like this.
Toilet connects to sewer main or the stack vent. Lavatory connects to toilet drain and runs a vent off the top the stubout tee out the roof or revents back into a dry vent in the attic.. The toilet wet vents through the lavatory vent and the tub/shower connects to the lavatory drain and is wet vented by it. This is a normal rough in and is acceptable both by local and state codes and also The Standard Plumbing Code Book in 90 percent of the country. Check your local codes.to make sure you're not in the excluded 10 percent.. The vent off the lavatory may be run out the roof or revented back into a dry vent in the attic or if you're reventing back into a fixtures dry vent you must make your connection at least 6 inches over that fixtures flood rim.
