This image is to help me explain the problem, please forgive the lack of greatness, and my lack of knowledge in this field. Will try to give all the info I can manage. :)

Firstly, for a couple days now we have noticed some water within 3 of our vents, today I noticed some in a 4th (floor vents), all of which are on the same side of the house. My mom decided to check the AC Unit in the wall today and the floor (where the red spongy stuff is around the 2 pipes going into the floor) is wet, and its leaked out onto the floor outside it's door.

Additionally, the "pan thing" colored in red on this "illustration" has water in it. From what I've read here and there, its ~suppose~ to be that way? I wouldn't know. She mentioned that the yellow tube had water going down it when the AC unit was on, but she switched it off, as some of the wires at the base near the floor have water on them. (Don't want anything bad to happen.. ) The black pipe/tube beside the yellow-ish one also had a wet spot on it about halfway down.

Unfortunately, this is all the information I can contribute on this problem. If you have any further inquiries, please let me know and I'll try my best to find out for you.

Thank you very much.
Joey

Okay, making an addition to this post. My mom just showed me something at the unit. She was letting it run w/ the door off and noticed that the coils iced over (white) and there's a copper pipe that sits on top of the triangular thingy that goes around the side and back down to the floor where the black pipe and yellow tube thing are, well that entire pipe iced over as well, and it got wet... is that suppose to happen? And if not... is there a way to fix it?

could the copper pipe be the reason the floor is getting wet and vents pooling water? And how can we fix that?

thanks~

That pan thing, is the pan. Warm air holds more moisture that cold air. When air passes through the cold coils, the moisture "drops" like warm moist air hitting a cold front, it drops as rain. The black tube is the drain, and if it is blocked, it will overflow, sometimes you can blow it out, they can get filled with algae, bleach helps. Find where the drain exits the house, and look for water exiting.
I wonder if the yellowish tube actuall pumps water out of a holding pan/tank, and pumps water up and over, instead of draining out.
As far as the vents, I have seen where the duct will sweat from being near warm air.
Hopefully an AC person will show up for more info.

Try to clear the drain line. If it is plugged up or restricted it will cause exactly what you are describing. Do not run the unit with the door off. If the coils/pipe are iced over turn unit of and let blower run to defrost. Then try to run the unit again.
