I have a shower drain that was moved from its previous location 2 yrs ago, since then when several drains are active, ie: upstairs toilet flushed and dishwasher draining I get water coming up through the shower drain, the original drain was under a 6" raised floor the new location is not elevated at all, someone suggested to just raise the new drain and that will fix it, doesn't make sense to me would think that is just going to give me 6 more inches of new pipe to fill up. Helpp

Sounds like you have a partial blockage downstream from the shower. Clearing out the drain will be a lot more cost effective then raising the shower floor. Give it a try and let me know. Good luck, Tom
