Go to Start
Go to all Programs
Go to Bureau Accessories
Go to Planned Tasks
See where-when-why you have scheduled dskcheck.
You can delete planned tasks there - if needed.

Success !

I find that it's quicker to do these tasks (chkdsk and defrag) in Safe Mode.
To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

Then:
1. Double-click My Computer, and then right-click the hard disk that you want to check.
2. Click Properties, and then click Tools.
3. Under Error-checking, click Check Now.

After that you can do a Defrag from the same dialog box.

You can delete your Schedule Task if you use the Windows XP.

Go to Start
Go to All Programs
Go to Accessories
Go to System tools
And Click the Schedule Tasks .

After you click it , will open the Scheduled Tasks windows .

In there you can see all your Scheduled Tasks .

For defragment , I used Defraggler software. It's a free ware and very easy to use...

You can download this software from this site

Defraggler - Defragment your files! (http://www.defraggler.com/)
