I have inherited an old Montgomery Ward sewing machine (which works wonderfully). However, I am trying to purchase a walking foot that fits. I have purchased from eBay with no luck. Any idea on what I should buy for this model?

Many Thanks.

If it is the type I am thinking of, you will have to have something fitted for the peddle foot, it my terminology is correct. I do come from the days when that type of sewing machine (peddle foot) was pretty well the only thing you had to use to activate the sewing mechanism. Although I never had one, other then electric which my mom bought from Eatons in Toronto. It lasted for many years and made a lot of dresses, pants, blouses for me.

Sorry Tickle, but a walking foot has nothing to do with the foot pedal. It is an attachment that feeds your fabric through your machine and is quite helpful in quilting.
