I have a globe that has a wooden stand which is about 3 feet tall. On the stand is a metal plate which says The Saturday Evening Post Dec. 4, 1926 Norman Rockwell "Santa at the globe." Wondering if this is worth anything. I know nothing about its history bought it from a thrift store.

Why don't you have it examined by an auction house? Normally they can provide you with a fair estimate!

Success !

Santa at the Globe was a Rockwell painting that has sold as a print. It has also been made into Christmas ornaments . I was not aware that an actual globe was made of it. I'm sure it has some value to Rockwell collectors.

Occasionally, we do need to refer questioners on this site to other resources. Hopefully not, though. Because doing so lessens the integrity of this site as being a place to find answers right on this site.

What is the globe constructed out of, please? Also, would it be possible for you to post an image of it here?

Thanks!
