We are a military family living on a military post, and as such, temporary outbuildings like sheds and decks are moved from one family's quarters to anothers, as we are unable to take them with us when we move every 2-3 years due to weight and size restrictions.

Our next door neighbors built this sturdy, and very heavy 12'x16' wooden deck in their backyard. They are moving and have to have it removed from their quarters so they can clear quarters. Not having the heart to take a chainsaw to it, a small group of us and a Jeep moved the deck into our backyard by rolling the deck on logs, much like the Egyptians did when moving mason blocks to build the pyramids.

Due to time constraints, we were unable to prepare the ground in our back yard to receive the deck. So, now we have this awesome deck in our back yard, but it is not level and I don't want it to warp!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to raise and level the deck without big machines and very limited man power? We are very limited in our resources allowed to us living on a military installation as well as having our spouses deployed.

Note: Moving the deck to another location is not an option.

Sounds like this is a slab deck with not vertical posts so it will be hard to reach all areas under the edck. I'd remove a few deck floor boards to reach the joists and jack up unedr the lower joists, shim with bricks or pressure treated lumber.
