I have been wondering this for years!
When I was little my mum got a film that I fell in live with...
But over the years I have forgotten its name.. and I do kind of remember the story!:)

It is about this girl who only has her dad left and then he gets sent to war and she t a boarding-school.. I think it was the first world war.. and then they get news that he died in war or something so they make her work in the school because she is an orphan with another girl... and there was also something with them living in the loft and the magic that the guy across the road used for them... he had a monkey I think.. :confused:
And then they figure out that her father isn't dead but lives across the road with the magic guy but he lost is memory

That is all I can remember!

The Little Princess, there is more that one version though.

Yes, it's a little princess. My favorite is the one with Shirley Temple from 1939... but there's also a remake from 1995. Good luck.
