How can you prevent your maytag electric dyer from turing back on while clothes are in the dryer but the dryer is paused?

P.S~i just got the dryer and I'm not completely sure how to work it the people I bought did not include a owners manual about the dryer. So if you have any idea please post an answer as soon as you can. Thank very much for taking the time to read this!

It should not be necessary, but the easiest way is to keep the door open !

For a manual : Try any of the following Sears links :

Sears on-line website (http://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/rails)

http://www.sears.com/Service (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/home_10153_12605)

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirecta (http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action?sid=PSHx20080114x00001I)

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirectb (http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action?sid=PSHx20080204x00001a)

Success!

If the door switch is faulty the dryer could still run. If that is the case, get it repaired soon, that is DANGEROUS.

As to the manual, I believe this is a Maytag, not Kenmore. Go to the Maytag website, you often can find manuals there. Good luck though, some manufacturers have PATHETIC websites. I have no experience with their's as we do not use Maytag anymore. They are NOT the most reliable or easily repairable! We have had a couple of their wash machines have failures that weren't worth repairing just out of warranty. But I digress, this is a dryer. :)
