My douchhound barks at the least little thing I have tried many different things that I have seen on animal planet. And none worked. Any help will be appreciated.

Ultimately, I would contact a behavioral trainer. Your dog barks when there is something he considers threatening so one of the things you can do is train him to be quiet in a comfortable non-intimidating or new situation so that he'll pick up on it better when there is something going on like someone at the door etc. Take him into the living room or something and get him excited to the point where he's barking (not by rough housing or anything like that, just talk to him excitedly, etc) then use a verbal command of "shush" or "quiet" with a hand command if you like to teach him to quiet down when you ask him to. Work with him on this for a little bit, just when it's you two and there's nothing else exciting going on and hopefully he'll pick up on your commands enough to understand that your "quiet" command applies all the time and that he needs to be stop barking when you ask.
Also, you can work on getting him better socialized. Take him on walks and play dates, etc. (BE POSITIVE THAT HE'S WELL VACCINATED! ) This way he'll know that not all people are out to challenge his home, health, or dominance.
You must also remember that there's a reason that these dogs have the 'hound' part in 'dachshund'. These are hound dogs bred to be short and long to follow game into burrows. It's in their nature to bark.
The info I gave you is something I just saw on animal planet. I am by no means an expert on training. If this doesn't work and if you are really concerned with this, you need to contact a trainer. Just a bit of info though, typically Petsmart trainers don't quite cut it (not in my area anyway), so you may want to try elsewhere. If money is not an issue, you're more than welcome to go to petsmart or something first but I feel like you'd have to go to someone else anyway and it'd end up costing you more. It'd probably be cheaper just to go to a true pro in the first place.
I wish you the best of luck!

Or you could try a dog wistle. Blow it every time he barks
