I am renting with a lease and the owner is in foreclosure and now she is filing chapter 13 and now she said its all OK and wants the check for rent whey do I do? Its still in foreclosure and she is in defualt since Jan 2008 and made us sign a lease and raised our rent and I told her that am not paying unless she has a legal proof and she said that I will be breaking the lease? Need help.

I am going to "assume" this was a new question, you posted this as a answer to someone else's question, but it did not appear to be a answer.

If they are going to do a Chapter 13 and the home is going to be part of the plan then there is a plan in place to save the home,

But yes, unless you live in California, you can not just not pay, her being in foreclosure is not a reason legally in any other state to withhold rent.
So if you don't pay, they can evict you for breaking the lease, so exact for California, you have no legal right to see any proof of anything
