Hi,

I have just gotten a used MTD 9Hp/27.5 yardbug riding lawn mower.
I am wondering what has been the experience of some of your readers as to the quality of this riding mower. I have reading some reviews on the internet and wanted to try and get some first hand feedback from someone who has one of the mowers.

Also, If you could enumerate the steps that I should go through to isolate the cause of a riding mower not starting if the engine is turning over.

2nd scenaro is that the engine is not turning over at all.

Thanks

you need air, fuel, spark and compression. I usually check for them in that order.

2nd scenaro is that the engine is not turning over at all.
This is actually the first thing to correct.

Thanks

FIRST off, get the engine to turn.

THIS IS SECOND ACTUALLY.

YOU don't have to shout. I have 20/20 hearing. Inside joke.
Anyway, get the engine to turn, then we'll go from there.
