Our Scotsman Model # CSE60, has stopped giving solid ice cubes, and it is now sporadically giving shelled ice.:confused: Any suggestions on how to correct this problem? :D We have tried all of the owners manual suggestions, such as cleaning and preventative techniques. :p

How old is the unit? Have you had any such problems before?
Is there water leaking anywhere? Is there "sweating" anywhere?
Are the fridge and freezer functioning properly?
Did you test with a thermometer the temperatures in either area?

Sometimes it helps to switch off the entire system for a couple of days to do a complete defrost. But than you require an alternative freezer to store your stuff. Have one, or can you arrange one, than do so !
