Hi,
During the last influx of ants I sprayed clove herbal non-toxic sray in the freezer to kill the ants that had crept in there. Well, the ants died and have stayed away, but the noxious taste of clove spray is on everything in the fridge and freezer. The stuff obviously got into the vent system. Any way to get rid of this awful smell?

Hi, clancy,
Thank you for asking a question here, and Welcome to the site.
My suggestion is to put some straight Distilled White Vinegar in a spray bottle.
Take everything out of both the freezer and the refrigerator. Then, spray the Vinegar all over everything. and let it run for a little while with the both doors open.
Eventually, the vinegar should clear out all the horrible smell.
I do wish you the best of luck, and I'm sure you will get some more suggestions. This does seem to be a bit much for taking care of it with just putting an open box of Baking Soda in there.
