Maytag ice maker will not eject ice cubes. Removed ice maker and see the ice in it. Should I just replace it, or try to fix it? It is off warranty now.

Icemakers get a build up of hard water deposit. This plugs the area where the gears are and will cause it not to let ice fallout or also have water drip out the bottom of it. Turn the water off and remove the ice maker. Clean off what is visible and then soak in vinegar. If this does not work you will need to replace icemaker. They are about $75.
