I have to click on send/receive for my incoming emails to show. I've gone to tools, options, page setup and show immediately for emails. Linda

With Outlook 2003 open, press CTRL-ALT-S
The Send/Receive Groups dialog will open
There is probably only one GROUP NAME called ALL ACCOUNTS and it's already highlighted. If not, highlight it.
Click EDIT
Select your email account from the panel on the left
Click the box at the top [ X ] Include the selected account in this group
Click OK
Back in the Send/Receive Groups window, make sure the first two items are checked in the section Setting for group "All Accounts"
Set the minutes to the frequency you want Outlook to check mail (10 minutes...15 minutes, etc.)
Click CLOSE
Click VIEW and make sure there is a check mark by STATUS BAR (this allows you to watch the lower right corner of your Outlook window and observe the progress as it downloads/uploads email)
Send yourself an email
Close Outlook as soon as the email is sent
Restart Outlook
Just wait and see if Outlook does its thing now, watch the lower right corner Status Bar. Did your test email come in on its own? It should now.
