Hi All,

I need help regarding USB foot pedal. I have Game Port (or midi Port) foot pedals which I need to convert into USB compatible, and I can do it myself.

Could anyone please give me IC number of it (if anybody have USB foot pedal). Or inside Circuit Diagram of USB foot pedal (or image).

I basically need the number of that IC which a USB foot pedal has. It is a 28 pin, two row IC. It will be a great help for me.

Thanks in advance.
Ravi

It seems unlikely to me that the USB interface chip(s) in USB pedals would be the same chips as required for a Gameport-to-USB converter, which is what you need. If you just want your pedals to work, go buy a Gameport-to-USB converter. Otherwise, if you're reinventing the wheel just for fun, I can't help you.

Sorry! I already have a USB foot pedal my problem is that the manufacuterer has removed IC number which is a 28 pin-two row IC. And I need that IC number only so that I can replace it with the good one.

Thanks and regards,
Ravi

Hi Ravi,
Sorry or the help, in fact just you change the ic,even the pedal is not working because it is micro controller. That means separate software loaded.it is a embeded. The ic is available only empty, the people loaded software then only the product is running. So better replace it or service it wherever uyou purchase.
