How do I adjust the bck legs on a kenmore washer

I don't think there are any back legs on washers, only front legs. If there are back legs you need to unscrew them just like the front legs unscrew. Tip the machine over a few inches and see what kind of legs there are. If no legs, use little wooden blocks.
