I live on the fifth floor of an apartment.I want to install a window ac(0.8 ton) in my bedroom(11"x10") .For installation of an AC,our builder has provided an opening in the wall.My problem is that ,the guy leaving next to me (on fifth floor) has installed AC and exhaust of his AC directly faces to my wall opening for future AC.If I install AC,there will only be an open space of 1 meter between his AC and mine .
Furhter, what complicate the things more, most of all sides around AC exhaust are blocked, hence poor ventilation i.e.east and west side :a wall,
North side :neighbour's AC exhust,
Top :a PVC sheet at the height of 2meters
Only bottom side of AC is open at the depth of 12 meters from top.
In this condition if I install AC,my AC's condenser coil will continuously face hot exhaust from my neighbour's AC(gap between his and mine AC is 1 meter). Is it advisable to install window AC in this condition? Will it efficiently work?
Further I want to buy AC of 0.8 ton .Will it be suffice for family of four .My room size is 11"x10".One of the face of my room faces west;roof is exposed to sun whereas other sides are shaded.
Regards,
Jag
