Your skin clears what other organs do not. Believe it or not, cleaning out your bowels can reduce acne. Drinking plenty of water helps too. Avoid chocolate and caffeine. Exercise and get plenty of fresh air.

To dry things out, I use:

Apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup
Lavender oil 20 drops
Eucalyptus oil 20 drops

Mix together and use as a facial rinse after cleaning, then pat dry.

I actually tried toothpaste one time because there was a bump on my cheek. I put a small amount on it and left it on overnight. When I woke I washed it off and it reduced dramatically in size. The toothpaste was Colgate, if that makes a difference.

You also want to clean out your system by drinking plenty of water. Change your diet. Stop eating a lot of junk food. You might also want to try a colon cleanse.

I would suggest that you stop using any type of foundation, powder, blush, anything that goes on your face besides eye makeup. A lot of the time, that is the cause of the problem. I also second drinking water, you would be surprised how much of an affect that can have on your body.

Sometimes acne is cause by gel or hair products that touch your face a lot,try rubbing your face with apriccot scrub twice a day and keep your hands clean try sanitisers

If you are going to use make-up to cover up acne, make sure that the make-up is not going to be greasy on you're skin! Also, don't use foundation! Only powder. If you're out in the hot sun all day, the foundation starts to make you're face look gross and ultra shiny. MAC products usually do this to a lot of peoples skin.
