Ok so I'm 15 and I called this place in OKC that was looking really clean and good and junk. My mom ok'd the piercing and when I called I asked how much and what I needed to birng. She said that they can't pierce my belly button until I'm 16 and my bestie got her's done a 14 . So does it just depend on the place or is there a law or something??

There is a law and it's illegal to pierce a minor under 16 I believe in Oklahoma. Any place that will pierce someone below the legal age is not only doing something criminal, but I wouldn't trust them to sterilize things properly, have properly trained artists, or use new sterile equipment, either.

Well I don't think it's a law because I called another place that I found on the APP webiste and they said that they can pierce with out a problem. I don't think anyone on the APP board would select and approve them unless it was legal... so anyway... thanks anyway
