My step-son found a coin on the ground, and we're trying to figure out what it is. We don't even know if it is a real coin or not. It's about the same size as a quarter. On one side, it has a rough "drawing" of a tiger's head. The other side has 12 symbols of unknown origin. The symbols are lined up on the coin as follows: 4 in the middle in a straight line with solid lines above and below. On the top, there are 4 more symbols that follow the curve of the coin. Same goes for the bottom of the coin. Any help would be appreciated!

I wish that I could, but my computer is too old for me to put my camera's software on it... it won't load disks, either. So, long story short... no. Thanks, though.

On off chance tiger has to do with a Chinese year... I found this add supposed to be for Chinese coins. Don't know if it'll help. Save on Coins And Gifts - Compare Prices, Find Discounts & Buy Online - Smarter.com (http://www.smarter.com/Coins_and_Gifts)

It would also help to know where you are located, if you wouldn't mind providing that information.
