OK so I've read through all the questions in the vain hope there is someone out there like me,but to no avail... I have a strange addiction to crunching concrete,or plaster between my teeth,I never swallow it and only keep it in my mouth for a few seconds but I love the feel of it,I also deepley inhale the smell of brick dust or a damp building site if I walk by it!! Apart from this I lead a normal life but have never spoken to anyone about this as they will think I am abnormal! Is it bad for my heath? Is there anyone who can relate to me?

Talk to a medical doctor... you may just have a vitamin deficiency.
Never breath in any type of dust on purpose... you only have 1 set of lungs.

It could be pica disorder but they EAT the non edible stuff or ice.
Still could be pica and you are just making a conscience decision to not swallow it.
Pica can be a deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals.

Buy a good quality multi vitamin & mineral from a health store like GNC.
It might take a week or two of taking it to notice a difference.
If you don't notice less of a craving then it is most likely something else.

try pop rocks!

Brilliant! And maybe still not the healthiest thing, but at least those were made to go in your mouth!
