I bought a house built in Florida 1957. It has gone through a couple of remodels and it looks like some corners where definitely cut in the remodels. On one side of an interior wall I have a toilet and on the other there is a Washer dryer. When clothes are washed I see sudds in the toilet and when the washer is on spin the vibrations cause air up through the drain in the toilet. It has been like that for a while but I recently noticed an odor in the laundry room and watter that seems to be seeping up through the linoleum tiles. The wall seems dry and the trap for the laundry drain also seems dry and there are no visible leaks above the area. Is it possible I have a problem under the cement?
