Do you have somebody to take over parental duties?
It is not as simple as signing a piece of paper to get out of child support

Every judge that I know of requires a lawyer to draw up the papers before he/she will sign off on it if is granted. What are you trying to accomplish maybe we can help you find another way.

Ga does not automatically allow for the giving up of rights of one parent, they have speicif rules as to what one parent can do to take the rights for some actions, like conviction of a felony, In GA you can not even take the rights away if they don't visit or don't pay child support.
You will need an attorney and you will have to try to convince a judge to allow it. ( not easy) Also the person giving up rights will still be liable to pay child support in GA, and GA will hold the non custody parent liable for payment if the child ever needs government assistance.
