View Full Version : Habor Breeze remote control setting changes

I recently bought a home with two (2) Harbor Breeze ceiling fans with light - one in the dining room & one in the master bedroom. Both fans & lights turn on & off together from either room or remote control. When I turn the bedroom fan on, the dining room fan comes on at the same time even though it is downstairs (& vice-versa). How do I change the settings so the bedroom fan & remote operate as a set independently of the dining room set?I don't have the literature on these fans (they are the same style).

You have to change the dip switches in one fan and remote set to a different position. See:

I have found the swithches in the remote, where in the fan are the switches?

In the receiver. USUALLY in the ceiling canopy, sometimes in the motor housing. See:
