I have an inexpensive weed eater push mower with a Kohler engine. I don't see a method of draining the oil and I don't know how much it holds.
a. Is there a way to find and print the manual?
b. Do you empty the oil by simply turning it upside down?

Down underneath the deck under the engine. Do you see a little square plug sticking out that you can fit a wrench on? I would not turn it upside down. It might take 8 oz of oil. Just add it carefully until the dipstick shows it's full.

Thanks, I have seen this but it is above the deck - so close that it would be difficult to get anything in there to catch the oil. I'll see if I can get a wrench on it.

There should be a drain plug under the deck. Remove the spark plug wire first.

I bought a small siphon pump at Autozone a few months ago. You can insert the tubing into the filler hole and siphon the oil out.

I badly want one of those. But since I use the excuse, I need to change the oil to avoid mowing the lawn sometimes, it might not work well to own one.
