I have a B&S I/C 17 Hp Rider. It will run if I pour Gas into the Carb, but as soon as that is gone it dies. It does have spark, I have drained and put fresh fuel in and also have put a new fuel pump on it. It still will not run. Any help is appreciated.

Take apart the carb and rebuild. The fuel valve is sticking.

You have carb problems.

To prevent it from re-occuring, don't store the gas in the lawnmower tank for more than 2 months without using Stabil, a fuel additive. It only works with good fuel.

Better yet, when you store for the winter, run the engine until it stops to empty all gas from the tank.
