Can you have too much fall on a sewer line and is it wise to have a 45 degree turn in the line

A sewer line should drop from 1/8 to 1/4" per foot. Yes, you can have a 45 degree turn, no 90's though

Yes you can! Too much fall and the liquid runs down so fast it drops and leaves the solids behind. To little fall and there isn't enough force to move the solids. Harold gave you the correct sloep to use. 1/4" to the foot is the normal fall that we use. 45's are more acceptable the 90's if that's what you're asking. Good luck, Tom
