I was visiting Lake Meade about two weeks ago with my co-workers, and we saw a small fence that went for miles in the desert. The fence measures about two feet in height and inside the fence their was small stones. It was a open fence which means that any animal had easy access through the fence. Does anyone have any clue what this fence is all about??
Thanks

Probably something the government erected. Who else would have the money to put a fence in the desert? Anyway, Lake Meade has something to do with Nellis AFB.

So funny to find your question, as I was just recently @ Lake Mead and also have this question. Found this article - Apparently the small fence is in place to protect turtles
