I recently wanted highlights so I let a friend pull my hair through a cap and bleach it, she pulled way too much hair through and it turned yellow, I went to the local beauty supply store and bought a permanent color and put it on my hair, it lightend my natural hair and darkend the bleached hair but it is still way too light. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

I am a stylist... go back to the supply store and ask the clerk to help you choose a demi permanent color that is closer to what you want... demi permanent will not hold long term and you may have to redo it in a month or so but will not damage your hair further, then get a reconstructing conditioner and do a treatment once or twice a week to restore your hairs strength
