Talk to phone service.

What are the terms of your agreement.

What are the fees indicated for access to the internet and roaming charges?

If they charged more than what is indicated in your agreement, then you dispute with your service provider.

If the fees charged, are represented in your agreement, there is nothing to dispute.

I would call them up and speak to them about this bill. My experience with cell phone providers is they basically want to keep you as a customer and want to keep you happy. You could possibly be able to negotiate some sort of a compromise on the $1,500 charge. Don't hesitate to contact them and explore your options. I've had them renegotiate things with me and lower my bill considerably. Ignoring the charge won't make it go away and could end up costing you more in the end as you will never be able to pay it off. Keep speaking to customer service, then their supervisor until you get the bill negotiated down. You could tell them that you were unaware of this feature costing you so much. Ignorance is bliss sometimes... (and works I might add.)
