Does anyone know a site that I can actually watch the movie american gothic online for free the one that came out in 1988

It's not available online at Netflix or Amazon. However, they're available for purchase at Amazon and rental at Netflix.
Viewing movies for free is, FYI, against the law. I suspect Google Video will face legal action for this in the near future, and wouldn't be surprised if YouTube were targeted for the same reason.
