Hey you, I just purchased a 2000 Grand Cherokee and I love it...

However:

*The power locks are all going, they make a grinding noise whenver you try to lock/unlock them. I read somewhere about a Universal Actuator but can't find them anywhere, or any kind of Grand Cherokee power lock actuator for that matter. I don't want to go to the dealer because quite frankly, their prices are outrageous!

*The tail light was out so I replaced it and within a day it was out again.

*And.. when I am accelerating it starts to 'buck' between 15-20 mph (1,800 - 2,000 RPM's.) After that it is a perfectly smooth, great riding 'truck.'

Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix these things? Thanks!

Well, a lot people are reading this and not responding but a little bit of an update.. We got the brake lights to work, we just had to grind the wires, we googled it and it seems many people have had the same problem. I also found the universal actuators on Ebay and am looking forward to receiving them in the mail soon. And as for the "bucking," we still haven't figured out what that is. Anyway.. anyone have any questions or ideas as to what could still be going on with my truck let me know. Thanks again.
