I have a Craftsman lawn mower, Briggs and Stratton engine. When mowing recently, gas starting pouring out of the air filter. After removing the air filter and it's connection assembly, if I tilt the mower or even if it is sitting level, all of the fuel will leak out the air filter connection. What do I need to replace?
Thanks in advance!

The needle valve in the float chamber of the carburetor may be stuck. The carb may have a cracked needle valve seat, or a failed seal. You may be able to exchange the old carb for a refurbished one at a dealer.

Yes, I think you are having carb needle and float problems

The ethanol in gas is breaking down causing problems for carburetors. You probably need a fuel stabilizer approved for your engine if you keep gas around longer than 60 days. You might also benefit from upgrading to premium gas and emptying your tank before storing your mower.
