My 31 yr old niece has been seeing spirits since she was 6. They scared her when she was younger but now she has gotten used to them. Every time she moves, they stay with her. She got married and she and husband bought a home. The pool furniture was constantly turned over. They sold that house and built a new one. Now her 6 yr old daughter is seeing spirits. She is terrified and says they follow her all over the house. She is scared to leave her mother's side.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to get rid of these spirits. To my knowledge they have not been hurtful; they just appear.

If you are religious, in the Christian faith, there are people who will cleanse a home and the people in the home, But all of the people in the home really have to want to be rid of them, after 20 years with them, is the niece really wanting to get rid of them. Assuming they are not just seeing into the sprit world, but since you say they are following it does not sound like that.

Well you said your niece would see spirits, and then if your niece daughter see things she might be a psychic. I heard about a case like this before.

My niece would like for them to be gone because of her 6 yr old daughter. I believe my niece is not really bothered by them anymore. I remember when she was about 10-11 yrs old - she would cry all the time because they were around. I believe they basically stayed in her bedroom - because I don't remember her ever mentioning that she saw them throughout the house.

When they (niece & husband) bought their first house (the one where all the pool furniture was constantly turned over, etc) they had it blessed by a minister at their open house. This new house I am not sure if they did or not. My niece's husband does not see anything and does not believe she does either. The pool furniture incidences he said was wind. But it happened time and time again. She wants them gone and is not sure if she can tell them to leave and they will or what to do. I told her I would see what I could find out for her.

Thank you for your help.

Because your Niece and her daughter are able to see them, they feel welcomed and acknowledged. See it through their eyes. You walk the earth day after day and no one notices you at all then you meet someone that can see you. Of course, your going to stick by them so you have something to do. The best thing to do is try to ignore it if you really want them to leave. If she keeps showing a response to their presence (fear), then they will stay with her.
My mother went through the same thing. An entity followed her from Pennsylvania to Florida. When I was born, she told whatever it was that she doesn't want it here anymore and that she wasn't scared of it. They next few days she ignored it and it left her and never returned.
If she is able to talk to them, tell her to ask them if they need help to cross over?

Your niece was the first to see these things and her daughter now sees them. So the experience is purely subjective. Your niece started seeing these things probably because at an early age she was influenced by a family member.. possibly her mother into believing in the existence of these things. Some people are highly suggestible and tend to see things because of this. Her daughter in turn has been influenced by her mother. There are no ghosts... it is all in the mind. It would be helpful if they consulted a physician or a psychiatrist.

These things do run in families (my family, for example). And fendersquier is exactly right: Once spirits know you are aware of them, they will show up. Some want to be noticed, some want you to give them energy, some may want to help you. I never go very far in giving second-hand information. I.e. it's up to your niece to seek what help she wants from what sources she chooses, so since she didn't personally ask, I don't think there's much I can ethically tell you.

If your niece doesn't know about AMHD, you can let her know and maybe she'll post something. I always like to meet brothers and sisters in the Work.

This much I'll say: My usual question for anyone with spiritual Sight, especially lifelong like that, is whether she has a particular spirit guide, a spirit she has met whom she trusts to be honest with her and have her best interests at heart. If she has one of those, that being can usually give her better answers than any of us. If not, she might want to go looking for one.

I grew up in a house that I believe had a spirit of a woman dressed in white... I would see her once in awhile. I was really scared but never told my parents or my 5 sisters. Years went by and I left home. My li'l sister, who is now 30, recently told me that she was often visited by a lady in white. She was terrified of her but as the yrs went by my sister got very annoyed with the spirit that she started yelling at her to get out and leave her alone. I guess the lady spirit was hurt and left, she never came back. My sister wished that she would have known that by simply letting the spirit know that it wasn't welcomed it wouldn't have scared her all these yrs.
