I live in Georgia and conceived my child in Georgia however, when I found out I was pregnant I moved to Florida with my parents. My daughters father moved down there with me about a month before she was born and then about 2 weeks after I had her he told me that he couldn't handle it and he moved back to Georgia. He has never paid a dime of child support or done anything to help me out. He has never sent a birthday card or christmas present. I didn't have any contact with him for over a year. After that year the contact was few and far between. My daughter is now 3 years old and I live in Georgia again. I am with a man who she calls daddy and he takes care of her as if she were his own. My daughter doesn't know her real father. He has not seen her since she was 2 months old. Now he wants to have a blood test done and proceed with going to court to get visitation to her and I am wondering what the chances of him getting visitation are. I can prove that he does drugs and I don't want him to be able to see her. My daughter already has a dad and I don't think it is fair to bring all of that confusion into her life, not to mention the fact that he has a very serious drug addiction to marijuana, perscription pills and crystal meth. Do I even have a fighting chance to keep him out of our lives?
