Hi,

Any help would be grately apprecited! I keep getting an error message (error 1327.invalid drive E:\) when try to install Google earth. I also get the same message when trying to uninstall from my laptop, I have a heap of old software which I no longer use which I just can't uninstall.

Any ideas please?

Thank you!

Did you recently remove or change your disk drive setup?
Can you tell Google Earth to install to the C: drive instead?

Does Google Earth work on your laptop? Is that what you are uninstalling? See if you can determine where the program actually is (C:, D:, etc) Is there an E: drive in Windows Explorer?

If Google Earth is actually on C:, but trying to uninstall from E:, and there is no E: drive, try this:
Open a Command Prompt window and type (no quotes) "subst e: c:\"
Now try to uninstall your program.
Basically, we've mapped the E: drive to the C: drive. Hopefully, this will make the uninstall happy.
Afterwards, in your Command Prompt window, type: "subst e:"
This turns off the mapping.

You could probably use this trick for the install too, but it would be much better to just install to C: instead.

Best of luck,
