I love the ceiling fan in my bedroom, and although it's quite a few years old it has always worked great. The other day, however, I noticed that the high speed setting wasn't moving as fast. I turned it on and off a few times, then tried the chain to see how the other settings worked. As it is, the low setting does not move the fan at all. The medium setting moves about as fast as the low setting used to, and the high setting only goes about medium speed. The light is working fine. Any suggestions on where to start before I mess with it on my own?

Probably a bad capacitor:

What make/model is the fan?

Thanks for the advice! I ordered a replacement kit, including the cap, and my fan is back in business!
