Have MTD Mower with Briggs $ Straton 14 HP LT engine. Engine froze yesterday. What engines can I use and will there any problems (such as belt size) installing the new engine?

About any 12 to 18 hp briggs should fit. Watch the pto shaft diameter and length. Otherwise they should bolt up. The wiring may be a little different on some engines.
