My 17 yr old was charged with aggravated menacing what are the possible outcomes?

Ive never even heard of that charge. What did they do?

What can happen, they could be charged as a adult and end up in prison.
Most likely will not happen but you asked what could.

They could end up with some jail time and be put on probation.

Or just end up on probation.

Or even have the charges droped or be found not guilty.

Too many variables to know - such as past history, what State you're in. I believe there are also degrees and this could be a misdemeanor or a felony. Also depends who was getting menaced - if children are involved, apparently the Courts are tough.
